For our team, 2019 had some big wins and some challenging days that helped us grow to an even better team than before. Check out some of our favorite moments of 2019!

10. The year with the kick ass interns

Our interns do so much more than you would think. There was only one coffee run (River wanted to), plenty of hard work and lots of new skills gained. Our rockstar Kim went on to shine as an intern for Disney. The wonder-kid River really pulled through and is now on staff here at Siarza!

9. The year with new and familiar faces

2019 was a big year to grow as a team and welcome some new and familiar faces to the crew! Julia joined us in January as a copywriter, but has grown into a jr. account executive role working closely with clients. Marisa came on board in July as our new Office Manager, but we all know she does more than keep us in line. Also in July, Sante came back to the team! He’s known SiarzaSD from the start as an intern over the years and now he’s one of our jr. account executives.

8. The year with #WeeklyWins

At SiarzaSD, we love to celebrate the differences and the little things. Whether it’s a big or small win, it’s still worthy of being added to our office bored to be celebrated by everyone!

7. The year with all the events

We got muddy at Mudd Volleyball for Carrie Tingley Hospital Foundation, tasted all the chocolate at the Chocolate and Coffee Fest, took in all the smells at Lavender Fest, spread kindness with the Jennifer Riordan Foundation at the New Mexico Bowl, and bumped elbows with the who’s who at Albuquerque Economic Development luncheons. That’s just to name a few! We had a blast with so many clients this year at such a wide range of happenings!

6. The year where we partied on Social Media Day

June 27th is an ordinary day for most people, but to social media managers, it’s a day to celebrate. We our 3rd annual Social Media Day Party this year and it’s a tradition we will carry on for years to come.
Of course, we couldn’t celebrate properly without lumpia! Lolo and Lola Siarza who always go above and beyond to make sure our team, clients, and all friends are well fed and taken care of!

5. The year where we were the life of the party

Our partnership with ABQ the Magazine this year helped us show off our design skills. We also had an excuse to dress up and show off that we really are the life of the party. (You can catch our Bravo special in 2020)

4. The year when we travelled to OZ

Give us any excuse to click our heals and travel back to OZ please! Halloween 2019 was our best team costume yet and owned that yellow brick road!

3. The year with five events in one day

December 6, 2019 is a day that goes down in the SiarzaSD book as a shining moment of the true spirit of our agency! It was all hands on deck running from one client event to the next: ABQ the Mag Best of the City Party, Nuve’s holiday party, Bold Future’s official name change, ABQid’s Demo Day, and Festival of Trees benefitting Carrie Tingley Hospital Foundation.
It was a rush, one of the best days in agency life, and we not only survived, we did it!

2. The year when we acquired Content Viking

After months of careful negotiations, SiarzaSD acquired the Germany based Content Viking. We are thrilled to continue the story of Content Viking created by Geoff Walters and wish him the best in his new ventures.

1. The year with with Best In Show

This year we were honored to receive a Best in Show Cumbre award from New Mexico PRSA for our work with Mudd Volleyball and Carrie Tingley Hospital Foundation. We put our sweat equity into our clients projects and it’s a surreal experience to be recognized for all the work we put in!
